Publication Ethics and Integrity Policy
RIPEDES is committed to the ethical principles of scientific publication defined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the editorial process — authors, reviewers, and editors — must ensure academic integrity, originality, transparency, and respect for authorship standards.
Cases of plagiarism, duplicate submission, falsification, or data manipulation are treated according to the COPE conduct flowcharts, which may result in manuscript rejection, publication retraction, and communication to the institutions involved.
Conflicts of interest must be declared by all participants in the editorial process. The journal adopts similarity verification tools and maintains a record of all editorial decisions to ensure traceability and transparency.
